Radis & Capucine is the brand name for the retail collection of gardening gifts, created, designed and manufactured by the parent company Interseed SA in France. Seed producer since 1927, the company – Interseed SA is a privately owned family business, and trades in seed in France also for Export.

Jean Sébastien Griffaton (3rd generation of the family) created the concept of the Radis & Capucine Collection ten years ago because of his belief that growing plants from seed should be fun, educative and reach all ages of novice gardeners, and indeed especially aimed at keen urban gardeners, families and the younger generation. By giving someone a gift based on growing a plant from seed or bulb, the receiver will surely learn something about the beauty and nature of growing plants, the mysteries of germination, the natural environment and our ecology.

Impulse purchase due to excellent visual display pack concepts on most of the products, has proven to be highly successful, and repeat stocking is always readily available due to the factory holding stock across all the collections of all the ingredients necessary to make up repeat orders quickly.

Radis & Capucine totally embraces CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility in all it’s manufacturing and sourcing. All the product packaging is printed on paper sourced from sustainable forest harvests. The printing inks are 100% vegetable, and all paper is treated with water –based finishes. The soil is certified organic, and our seed harvest wherever possible (allowing for market availability) also organic. This important aspect in our philosophy has not increased our pricing policy.
