The red poppy is synonymous with the bounteous floral display that we enjoy in summer time, evoking tempting thoughts of taking a peaceful nap in the warm embrace of the countryside. Sow these poppy seeds amidst the warmth of your home in the 6 cm white ceramic plant pot supplied with this kit from Radis et Capucine. Later, when the plants are a few centimetres high, you will need to transplant them into a larger pot for display on your balcony or in your garden. An ideal table gift for weddings, it can be personalised with a small sticker.

1 white ceramic pot, 6 cm in diameter
1 pad of dried coconut fibre
1 bag of poppy seeds

Cultivation method:
Rehydrate the coconut fibre pad and crumble it in your fingers, setting a little aside.
Fill the pot and plant the seeds, spacing them carefully.
Cover with a thin layer of the coconut fibre, tamping down lightly.
Use a fine stream hand spray to water.
Keep warm at or over 18?C
After the initial growth, select the most beautiful plant to keep.
15 days later, move into a larger pot and keep until May, then it can be placed out on the balcony or in the garden.

Our advice: don?t sow the seeds all at once, keep some for planting next year or sow them in the wild. The poppy is becoming increasingly scarce, give it a boost.
