Sachet of seeds from which you can grow edible hops.

Voted the county flower of Kent in 2002, the common hop (Humulus lupulus) is a species of herbaceous perennial climbing plant. The richly fragrant flowers it produces are known as hops, which are extensively cultivated for use by the brewing industry, as the female flowers are added to fermenting beer to give it a bitter tang and great flavour, as well as act as a preservative. Hops can also be used in cooking, where they serve a similar function, giving food a certain distinctive spiciness. The young shoots are particularly delicious in an omelette. As well as having various uses, the hop plant is remarkably easy to grow and no problem to look after, and with this sachet of seeds from Radis et Capucine you can discover for yourself the considerable appeal of a plant which man has grown since the days of the ancient world.
