- 1 terracotta pot
- 2 clover bulbs with 4 leaves to plant
- 1 coconut soil lozenge to rehydrate
Cultivation mode:
- Coconut soil: To promote successful germination, start by soaking the fertilized coconut lozenges in 5 to 6 times their volume of water: they will instantly swell. Fill the pot with a spoon. Remember to keep a small portion to cover the seeds after sowing.
- Planting: Plant the bulbs in the center of the pot, pointing up. Gently cover the bulbs with fertilized coconut soil, letting the tip protrude.
- Watering: It is better to use rainwater or filtered water (without chlorine). Prefer a fine rain watering, preferably with a manual sprayer, to keep the soil just wet, without soaking it with water, during the whole crop. Think of the soil as a wet sponge that needs to be drained. Do not let the coconut soil dry.
- Germination: Grow in a cool room, without putting under a glass or near a heater, because otherwise your clover would only grow on one stem. Clover germination occurs after 2-3 days.
- Transplantation: No need to transplant, the crop is done in direct seeding/planting. If necessary, aerate by removing a few plants if your seedling is too dense.
- Harvest: 4-leaf clover grows in 2 to 3 weeks and can grow again once the stems are cut. Dry the leaves in a book.
- Our advice: You should place the 4-leaf clovers under a large light source but especially not close to a heat source, as soon as they are planted, at the risk of appearing large endless petioles.
