Growing instructions:
- When to sow: in spring, once the risk of frost has passed, or indoors from March for an earlier start.
- Where: in light, well-drained soil, exposed to sunlight.
- How: sow the seeds 0.5–1 cm deep, in small clusters or rows spaced a few centimeters apart, then cover lightly with soil and water gently.
- Watering: keep the soil slightly moist until germination, then water moderately depending on the weather.
Growth and care:
- Seeds germinate in 7 to 14 days.
- Flax flowers grow upright and bloom in 2 to 3 months.
- Trim faded flowers to encourage prolonged blooming.
💡 Tip: Flax can also produce sustainable plant fibers if you allow some stems to fully develop. 🌱💙
