Growing capybara (Chia Pet) – Instructions

Prepare the seeds: soak the chia seeds in a small amount of water for 1 hour to promote germination and create a gel-like texture, ideal for applying onto the capybara.
Apply to the capybara: using a wooden spatula, spread the seeds evenly over the dry capybara, forming a thin, uniform layer. Avoid overlapping seeds and replace any that fall off.
Add water: place the capybara in a plate or shallow dish and fill it with water. Refill daily and mist the seeds to keep them consistently moist.
Light and temperature: place the capybara in a warm, bright location, away from direct sunlight.
Daily care: keep the seeds moist by filling the capybara to the top with water and misting regularly, especially during the first 5 days.
Germination and growth: sprouts will appear in 5–10 days. Continue misting to maintain the sprouts for a few weeks.
Reuse: once the sprouts have dried, you can repeat the process with new seeds.
