Composition:

2 red clover bulbs to plant
2 coconut tablets to rehydrate

Cultivation mode :

Coconut Lands: To promote successful germination, start by soaking the fertilized coconut lozenges in 5 to 6 times their volume of water: they will instantly swell. Do not forget to keep a small portion to cover the bulbs after planting.
Planting: Plant the bulbs in the center of the pot, pointing upwards. Gently cover the bulbs with fertilized coconut soil, leaving the tip protruding slightly.
Watering: Ideally, use rainwater or filtered water (without chlorine). Use light watering, preferably with a spray, to keep the soil just wet, without soaking it with water, throughout the crop. Think of the soil as a damp sponge, then well drained. Do not let the coconut soil dry.
Germination: Grow in a cool room, without placing under a glass or on top of a radiator, as this would risk to grow only the stem. Clover germination occurs after 2-3 days.
Transplanting: No need for transplantation, the crop is done directly in seedling/planting. If necessary, aerate by removing some plants if your seedling is too dense.
Flowering: The purple clover grows in 3 to 4 weeks and produces pretty little pink flowers. The stems are 15 to 20 cm long and you will have a nice mist after a few months. Outside, in winter, the leaves disappear but regrow in spring.
Our advice: Do not place the clover near a source of heat, or you may see long and endless petioles emerge. Also think about planting densely, the bulbs pressed against each other to get beautiful compositions. In the garden, you can keep a beautiful bunch of purple clover for several years.
