Composition:
- 1 terracotta pot
- 2 banana seeds
- 2 coconut lozenges to rehydrate
Cultivation mode:
- Soil preparation: fill a pot with light, well-drained soil. You can mix conventional potting soil with sand to improve drainage.
- Sowing: Plant the banana seeds about 1 cm deep in the soil. Make sure that they are well spaced to allow for good growth.
- Watering: Water regularly to keep the soil slightly moist, but be careful not to overwater to avoid water stagnation and root rot.
- Exposure: Place your pot in a bright location, ideally near a sunny window. The banana tree likes direct light but can tolerate indirect light.
- Temperature: The banana prefers temperatures between 20°C and 30°C. Avoid drafts and temperatures below 15°C.
- Maintenance: Water regularly and ensure the growth of the leaves. If conditions are good, you will see your banana grow and develop new leaves. It may take time to produce bananas, but the pleasure of seeing the plant grow is worth the wait.
