Cultivation mode :

• Coconut lands: To promote successful germination, start by soaking the fertilized coconut lozenges in 5 to 6 times their volume of water: they will instantly swell. Do not forget to keep a small portion to cover the seeds after sowing.
• Strawberry inside: Open the bag and pour seeds into your hand. If they are too small, add sand to make it easier to sow. For sowing, sprinkle the seeds on the wet uncompact coconut soil, maximum 2 to 3 seeds per pot. Save the rest of the seeds for later sowing or to sow directly in your garden or on your balcony when the weather is nice. Gently cover the seeds with fertilized coconut soil and tamp lightly.
• Sowing period: July or December preferably, all year long sheltered. Watering strawberry plants: Ideally use rainwater or filtered water (without chlorine). Prefer a fine rain watering, ideally using a hand sprayer, to keep the soil just wet, without gorging it with water, throughout the culture. Think of the soil as a wet sponge and then wrung out. Do not let the coconut soil dry.
• Strawberry seeds germination: Expose to sunlight behind a glass, without putting on top of a heater and ideally with a plastic water bottle cut out to serve as a greenhouse. Seeds can take a week to germinate. Keep the seedlings under the plastic bottle for as long as possible to retain heat and moisture. The plant then grows normally if well watered.
• Planting Strawberry plants: When the seedlings emerge and reach 5 cm in height, select only one plant per pot and transplant the others into new pots or planters, or directly in your garden, to 20 cl distance, as soon as the ground temperature is no longer cold. Be careful to be delicate, not to break the stems or roots when transplanting. Water to promote growth.
• Harvest: 12 months after planting.

Mix 150 g mascarpone, 2 egg whites and 1 bag of vanilla sugar. Place a thin layer of biscuit on the bottom of the verrines, alternate layers of mixture and strawberries cut in half, finish with a layer of strawberries and a thin layer of biscuit. Cool before serving.
