Cultivation mode :

• Coconut lands: To promote successful germination, start by soaking the fertilized coconut lozenges in 5 to 6 times their volume of water: they will instantly swell. Remember to keep a small amount to cover the seeds after sowing.
• Sowing: Open the bag and pour some seeds into your hand. If they are too small, add sand to facilitate sowing. To sow, sprinkle the seeds on wet, uncompacted coconut soil, maximum 2-3 seeds per pot. Save the remaining seeds for a later sowing or to sow them directly in your garden or on your balcony when the weather is sunny. Gently cover the seeds with fertilized coconut soil and tamp lightly.
• Watering: Ideally, use rainwater or filtered water (without chlorine). Prefer a fine watering, preferably with a manual sprayer, to keep the soil just wet, without rubbing it with water, throughout the culture. Imagine the soil as a damp sponge, then drained. Do not let the coconut soil dry.
• Germination: Expose them to light behind a glass, without putting them directly on a heater, to promote rapid and abundant germination. Otherwise, from the month of April, expose your balcony, window sill or terrace to the sun. The germination of flower seeds takes a few days and the plant then grows if well watered.
• Planting: When the seedlings emerge and reach 3 to 5 cm in height, keep only one plant per pot and transplant the others into new pots or planters. Be careful not to break the stems or roots when transplanting. Water to promote regrowth.
• Flowering: from May to July
