From October onwards, sit back and let nature do the rest: within just a few weeks, a flower of breathtaking beauty will light up your home with its deep, vivid red.

The amaryllis is one of the most spectacular flowers you can grow at home. Its stately bearing, sturdy stem and large trumpet-shaped flowers with their intensely red petals make it a truly remarkable houseplant. Unlike other flowering bulbs, the amaryllis does not seek to charm through subtlety: it commands attention, fills the space and draws the eye. A single plant is enough to transform an entire room.

This kit contains one red amaryllis bulb carefully selected for its vigour and ability to produce a generous bloom. The bulb has been cold-prepared in advance using a controlled forcing technique, allowing it to immediately begin its growth phase once planted indoors.

Usage instructions:

Pour the pumice stone into the bottom of the pot. Then add the sand and compost in layers according to your preference and decorative ideas.

Plant the Amaryllis bulb with the tip facing upwards, in the centre so you can watch the roots grow. Push the bulb down so that only the small tip is showing. Water regularly but without excess. Place in natural light and keep away from radiators.

The flower will grow quickly and you will have one or two stems with flowers within 3 to 4 weeks. At the end of flowering, remove the bulb and replant it in your garden for new flowers next year.

You can reuse the pot for other plantings or as part of your interior decoration.
