The crocus is one of the first flowers to herald the renewal of nature at the end of winter. With its small luminous cups, delicately striped petals and deep, vivid violet hue, it embodies in equal measure the fragility and vitality of living things. Grouped together in their transparent pot, five crocuses form a natural bouquet of charming grace, modest in size but irresistible in effect.

This kit contains 5 violet crocus bulbs carefully selected and prepared using a cold forcing technique. This method, used by professional horticulturalists, involves subjecting the bulbs to controlled low temperatures to reproduce the winter conditions they naturally need in order to develop. Once this process has been carried out in advance, the bulbs are ready to grow as soon as they are planted indoors, with no waiting required. The first shoots appear within just a few days, and the flowers bloom within a few weeks, right in the heart of the cold season.

The pot provided is fully transparent, turning each day into a small living botany lesson. Through the sides, you can watch the roots weaving their way between the layers of substrate, the bulbs gradually coming to life, the stems breaking through the surface and reaching up towards the light. This subtle yet fascinating spectacle unfolds anew each day, making the crocus kit an activity as captivating for adults as for children, who enjoy monitoring the progress of their little plants on a daily basis.

including 1 bag of compost 200g, 1 bag of sand (100g), 1 bag of pumice stone (100g),
5 violet crocus bulbs, in a printed 11x11x18 cm full-colour box with multilingual instructions, branded Radis et Capucine.
Delivered in sets of 6 in a 40x30x20 cm cardboard box.

Usage instructions:

Pour the pumice stone into the bottom of the pot. Then add the sand and compost in layers according to your preference and decorative ideas.

Plant the bulbs with the tips facing upwards, along the transparent sides so you can watch the roots grow. Push the bulbs down so that only the small tips are showing. Water regularly but without excess.

Place in natural light and keep away from radiators. The flowers will grow quickly and you will have delicately fragrant blooms within 3 to 4 weeks. At the end of flowering, remove the bulbs and replant them in your garden for new flowers next year.

You can reuse the pot for other plantings or as part of your interior decoration.
